Caché Backup Scheduler

The Scheduler is a simple tool to perform an off-line Caché backup on Windows NT or 2000.

The Scheduler will daily stop Caché on a pre-defined time, copy the files you defined in the tool, and bring Caché up again. You can use your own backup program to write the files to a tape device.

The Scheduler uses the Windows NT/2000 service of Caché to make sure Caché is stopped before doing the actual copy, assuring that the database files are unmounted.
